A few things I wish Twitter would implement/bring back:
- The option to filter out re-tweet's of people you already follow.
- The return of IM. Hey twitter - not everyone has unlimited SMS packages and IM is a prime way for us to stay connected to your network!
- Subject tracking via IM/SMS. I loved getting an alert everytime someone in the twitterverse mentioned something I was interested in. Great way to find people with similar interests as you!
- The ability to explicitly make tweets public or private. Sometimes I want my tweets to be seen by the entire twitterverse and it would be nice for them to implement a feature that you would set a default in your profile - public or private. And then if you wanted to make a tweet NOT-public or NOT-private you would put something in the tweet to make it that way.
