This means it will work on T-Mobile 3G/4G on launch day - no waiting for the 1900MHz spectrum swap!

I would like to correct my previous statement about the new iPad and T-Mobile data. As @davidj points out - it needs the 1700MHz band.

But since T-Mobile is switching 3G/4G data from 1700MHz to 1900MHz this year anyway - it's pretty much irrelevant if they have the 1700MHz band or not.
